Kalari payattu is a unique martial art of Kerala. It is a great fighting art form that was born entirely in South India, especially in Kerala. There are mainly three different styles of Kalari Payattu systems in existence today. They are Vadakkan (Northern),Thekkan (Southern) and Madhya Kerala Kalam Chavuttu(Middle System)
Maythari Physical exercises ,kaaluyarthi payattu, Maypayattu etc.
Kolthari Training attacks and defense with wooden made weapons.
Ankathari Training attacks and defends with Iron, made sharp weapons.
Verumkai empty hand attacks and defense training and study of marma, vital point attacks
